Micro and Nanosystems

Program Description

The MSc in Micro and Nanosystems is an interdisciplinary programme for Bachelor graduates in mechanical or electrical engineering. The programme is tutor-driven: each student selects a professor working in the desired area of specialisation to serve as his/her tutor. The tutor defines an individualized curriculum, which ensures high-quality specialised education matching the student's talents and expectations.
Compulsory core courses, explicitly designed for micro and nanosystems engineers, provide fundamental theoretical and application-specific knowledge. Elective courses in physics, chemistry, biology, particle technology, material science, computational science, business administration and management allow the students to tailor the curriculum to match individual aspirations.
