Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program

Program Description

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) program is designed for international attorneys, judges, government officials, prosecutors, corporate legal counsel, bankers, and recent law graduates who are interested in receiving a degree in American law, and the U.S. legal system, and prepares them for leadership roles in the global market. Through the LL.M. Program, foreign lawyers have a chance to meet and interact not only with the faculty and J.D. students, but also with practicing lawyers from around the world.

Entry Requirements
To qualify for admission to the LL.M. program, applicants must have earned their first law degree (LL.B. or the equivalent) outside of the United States. Admission is highly selective and those admitted will have excellent law school records, strong letters of recommendation, proficiency in English and leadership potential. Although not required, some work or research experience following completion of the first law degree is preferred. Our program does not require the LSAT exam; however, we do require the TOEFL exam. The Admissions Committee carefully examines all parts of the application.
