Through the selection of modules, electives and the theme of the Master's thesis the educational profile can be individually determined in cooperation with a commission of advisors. Beginning with the first semester, most of the work is undertaken in close involvement with one of the research groups at the Department. The Master's thesis usually includes preparatory field work (mapping, making profiles, and measurement campaigns) which is carried out during the semester break.
